Microwave Sensors
These type of sensors use microwave radar technology to detect motion and presence within its range. The microwave module emits microwave signals (similar to radio waves) and then measures the reflection of those signals when they bounce off objects or people in the area. Based on the reflected signals, it can detect movement. Motion detection: When a person enters the area, the microwave sensor detects their movement through the change in reflected microwaves. Automatic control: Based on the movement detected, the sensor can automatically turn the light on or off. It's commonly used in places like hallways, bathrooms, offices, or other areas where automatic lighting is beneficial for energy-saving and convenience. Energy-saving: The sensor helps in reducing energy consumption by ensuring that the light is only on when the space is occupied.
