After more than 130 years, L. S. Starrett remain as dedicated today to the making of great tools and saws for our customers as they were when Mr. L. S. Starrett from Athol, Massachusetts, USA, founded the company in 1880. He created a business and a brand that has become synonymous with precision, quality and innovation, backed by unmatched service and support.
Established in Jedburgh, Scotland in 1958, the L. S. Starrett Company Ltd has been committed to designing and manufacturing the highest quality of band saw blades and hole saws available. Today, there are over 150 people employed at the 200,000 square foot facility, in Scotland which produces in excess of two million hole saws per year, as well as manufacturing a range of other saws and machines, such as optical profile projectors and band saw blades. Alongside all our innovative Starrett manufactured products, we are proud to supply manufacturers and tradesmen worldwide who rely on the industries best tools to ensure the highest standard of precision and quality.
