 This Avenue junction box boasts an ingress protection rating of IP66 which means its not only dustproof but also protected against low pressure jets of water from all directions. If this isn't sufficient you can use the integral M25 thread to boost this rating up to IP67 which means the junction box is now rated to submersible in water up to a depth of one metre. If you don't need the extra protection the entry points feature a self sealing puncture membrane, push the cable through the membrane and a natural seal is created. Strong, robust, reliable these junction boxes are not only shatterproof and impact resistant they are also highly resistant to fats, oils, and weak acids.
