Medlock Electrical Distributors are the largest independent wholesale group in the UK and a leading member of the ANEW buying consortium. Recent rapid growth has seen us increase our number of branches from 23 to 44 in the last 6 years and now have branches in the Republic of Ireland (Dublin and Cork), Scotland (Elgin, Stornoway and Inverness) and the Lake District (Kendal).

Medlock's were formed in 1910 and eight years ago celebrated our centenary. Our 108 years in electrical wholesaling gives us considerable experience and knowledge that enables us to give our customers a wide choice, great value but above all an unbeatable service.

Our Avenue own brand product range contains fast moving, competitively priced commodity products in all product areas: cable, cable accessories, cable management, circuit protection, fire and security, heating, water heating, lighting, lamps and tools. In addition we have recently launched our Avenger own brand range of LED lighting and our Avenue Basics range of budget price accessories. In addition, we hold huge stocks of all major brands across our branch network.

All of our branches are linked via a real time computer system that allows each account manager access to the whole company's stock and delivery network to ensure unbeatable service, choice and value for the contractor and industry buyer. Our new website will allow customers to purchase online with a guaranteed next day click and collect or delivery service on all stock lines.

Several of our branches also include a Lightplan decorative lighting showroom that displays all of the latest contemporary and traditional decorative lighting not only for the domestic environment but also for the retail and commercial sectors including restaurants, pubs and offices.
